Dr. Karin Drummond works at the office on the East Side of Bloomington.Dr. Karin Drummond suffered with illness as a child, and when the medical approach failed her, she turned to alternative care. When chiropractic care helped, it became her life long passion. She graduated from Western States Chiropractic College, in Portland, Oregon. She is trained in diversified techniques, and continues to learn alternative approaches to achieving optimal health. This enables her to develop specific treatments to individual body's needs. What to expect: The initial visit can range from half an hour to a full hour. She spends at least 15 minutes a patient on follow up visits. She works with the whole body, physically, nutritionally and emotionally. She accomplishes this through chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release, post-isometric stretching of tight muscles, and other physical therapy techniques. She takes the time to show different stretching and strengthening exercises that enables the patient to do home therapy. She informs patients of dietary changes or herbal remedies that may help their conditions. She teaches relaxation techniques. She advises on work and home ergonomics. Her aim is to enable people to live healthier, longer and happier lives.
